Campbell is a town of culture and great artistry, and we see that on display every month with music and art displays on  First Fridays and Second Saturdays. On those days, the sidewalks of Downtown Campbell come alive with local musicians, artists, and craftsmen putting their skills on display. These days are the perfect opportunity to support the arts in a tangible way.

First Fridays

Every month, the first weekend kicks off with free sidewalk concerts by up and coming local bands and longtime Campbell favorites. There are four bands or musicians scheduled each month, and they are spread throughout downtown, so you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy live music. And while you are walking between band sites, be sure to stop in to local stores and see what kinds of goodies the local merchants have to offer. You might find a new favorite spot!

The musical stylings range from rock to country to jazz, and everything in between. Past musicians have shared the stage with the likes of Neil Young and played all over the world including Australia, Guatemala, and even the White House.  The fun goes from 5:30 to 8:30. Are you a musician looking for a place to get out in front of a crowd and play? You can apply to be one of the featured bands or musicians here.

Second SaturdaysSecond Saturday festivities in Campbell also include live music, as well as the artwork and crafts of many artists and makers. Experience the handiworks of Campbell residents, including jewelry, paintings, pottery, gifts, and other handmade goods. Pick up something to beautify your home, or to give as a gift. Second Saturday is a great way to spend an afternoon with friends, or to get the kids out in the fresh air and expose them to art! The Second Saturday events take place every month from April to December, rain or shine. To be an exhibiting artist, fill out an application here, and you too can be a part of this special event.
